Rock Bands Quartet Playing Cards
Welcome to the project where creativity meets the rhythm of rock! In this design project, I created a quartet of rock bands immortalized on playing cards.
Working on Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, each card is a visual symphony featuring a band member's name - using a Rock & Roll-inspired font, a colorful Wpap art image - capturing their essence, the band name - mirroring the distinctive typography of the real band’s logo and an iconic representation of the member's instrument. While the front side of each card is different, the back side is uniform and contains a more general Rock & Roll elements.
The true challenge was in creating a visual link between the front and back sides, ensuring a seamless flow in design style, typography, and composition.
I wanted to create a playing card set that not only pays homage to the rock genre but also tells a compelling visual story of each band member's unique contribution.
